Coffe grading sieves
Grading sieves are sifting tools with progressively smaller holes, essential for roasters, used to determine the size of green coffee beans.
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Grading sieves are sifting tools with progressively smaller holes, used to determine the size of green coffee beans.
The size of the beans is crucial in the selection and processing of coffee, especially for achieving a uniform and high-quality roast. In fact, smaller beans tend to roast faster, and their density also plays an important role in this process.
The beans are poured onto a series of sieves, with progressively smaller holes. The sieve on which the beans will stop, being, at that point, of a larger diameter, will provide an accurate measurement.
Our sieves are handmade, featuring a wooden frame and a perforated steel plate.
From a technical standpoint, the hole sizes are as follows:
14/64 – 15/64 – 16/64 – 17/64 – 18/64 – 19/64 – 20/64
Buttom hole: 10/64 + bottom and lid collar: 10.50 kg
Available in sets of 10 pieces.
